The Vancouver Island Exhibition Association is excited to welcome you to Nanaimo’s 2025 Country Fair! With over 20,000 visitors each year, the VIEx is a celebration of community, culture, and entertainment. Whether you’re a longtime fairgoer or a first-time visitor, there’s something for everyone at this year’s event!

Get ready for the return of some of our most thrilling attractions, including the awe-inspiring Global FMX freestyle motocross show, the fan-favorite President’s Choice SuperDogs, the legendary Yukon Dan Gold Panning experience, and an exciting lineup of Main Stage Entertainment. Plus, new for 2025, we are thrilled to introduce the BC Country Music Association Stage, showcasing incredible homegrown talent and rising stars in Canadian country music!

Our theme, "Proudly Local, Wildly Canadian," celebrates the hardworking artisans, performers, and businesses that make our region unique. From live music and adrenaline-pumping performances to interactive exhibits and delicious local eats, the VIEx is the perfect place to experience the best of Vancouver Island’s rich culture and community spirit.
